Our proxies run on real networks shared with other people, so how you use them matters. This policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone with a HavuProxy account, and to anyone using their credentials.
What our proxies are for
Customers use HavuProxy for lawful work such as:
- Collecting publicly available data from websites
- Checking search rankings and local search results
- Tracking prices, stock and reviews
- Verifying ads and protecting brands
- Testing websites and apps from different countries
- Market research and protecting your own privacy online
What's not allowed
- Anything illegal where you are, where the proxy IP is or where the target website operates.
- Fraud, phishing, payment card abuse, fake sign-ups or impersonating other people.
- Breaking into accounts, including credential stuffing and password guessing.
- Sending spam or bulk unsolicited messages, including email, comments and direct messages.
- Attacking or overloading systems: denial-of-service, flooding, or scanning for weaknesses without the owner’s permission.
- Accessing systems or data you’re not authorised to access.
- Spreading malware or running botnets.
- Collecting or using personal data in breach of data protection law.
- Infringing copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property.
- Harassment, threats, or content that exploits or harms children.
- Reselling access, publishing your credentials, or trying to get around bandwidth metering or our limits.
Network restrictions
To protect the network and the people whose connections it uses, we and our partners may block certain websites, ports or kinds of traffic, and limit request rates. These limits can change without notice.
What happens if this policy is broken
We look into abuse reports and may warn you, limit or pause a plan, or suspend or close your account. For serious or repeated breaches we can do this straight away and without a refund.
We may share information with law enforcement or affected parties when the law requires it or when we need to protect people from harm.
If you see abuse coming from our network, email support@havuproxy.com with the IP address, the time (with time zone) and what happened. We review every report.
